2. Research and writing go hand in hand

Research and writing go hand in hand
Before you begin your research think about whether your research topic is something that really interests you. Even if you already know some things about your topic, read as much as you can so that you can develop an informative paper.

Begin your paper with an introductory paragraph. This paragraph should contact the question or problem that you are going to explore in your paper. Alternatively, this paragraph should contact a thesis statement. For example, regular exercise and a balanced diet are important components for living a long healthy life.

The body of your paper should contact facts, stories, anecdotes to support your thesis statement.

Your concluding or summary paragraph should contain a statment that summarizes the main points in the body of your paper.

Proofread your paper. A good paper takes at least one proofreading. A better paper may take two or three proofs with changes and editing along the way.
